On Saturday 3^rd May Lochdonhead Primary School effectively contributed to the Tobermory Spring Flower show and achieved success. Two mural entries from our P3-7 class and P1-2 class were displayed on the walls and added colour to an already vibrant display of local entries. P1-2 also entered with their edible bird nests, handmade flowers and salt dough animals. P1-2 came second with their mural entitled “Garden Insects.” Molly from P1-2 won a prize after coming first with her salt dough animal. Grace came second and Gracie came third. Jessica won a prize for coming first in the handmade flower section. The prizes were £5 book vouchers from Tackle and Books. The pupils confidently created their art and were aware of their role as responsible citizens for taking part to support a local community event and provide enjoyment for attendees of the flower show.
