Scottish Opera Visit

Reported by P6/7

First, we travelled to Craignure Village Hall to meet The Scottish Opera people. When we got to the hall, we were told to get to the very top of the hall and sit down as part of the Tavern Crew.

We started practicing with the first song and we learnt how to move for the last song and then had break.

After break, we started doing the single crew practices. We went first and after lunch we had the dress rehearsal.

We waited for our audience to arrive and we performed the whole show of Tam O’ Shanter.

I enjoyed learning the whole show and it was much more fun than I thought it would be. (Isla)

I enjoyed seeing a friend I thought I wouldn’t see again because all of the schools performed together. (Hannah)

I enjoyed having the very oversized top and the extremely undersized trousers! (Anna)
