We were very lucky to have a visit from Rob and Gordon on Thursday 2^nd October who brought along a rally car that Rob has been helping to build. The children enjoyed asking lots of questions, looking around the car and even having the chance to sit in it!

I’ve learned that there are 3 pedals one was for the brakes. – Jessica P3

I enjoyed the rally car because it was blue. – Andrew P2

I learned that they close and open the boot in a different way than normal cars. There are little springs that hook onto little black knobs on the car. – Anna P7

I’ve learned that the rally car needs to be low so that it can go a lot faster. – Layla P4

I learned the windows are made of plastic. – Shylah P4

The red handles on the bonnet are there for emergencies. If you pull the one with the E on and the car is on fire, it sets off the extinguishers in the car. If you pull the other one, it stops the engine. – Lucy P7

I liked when I sat in the rally car because it was so cool! – Gracie P3

The rally car was blue, I liked seeing it. When I grow up, I want to be in a rally car, Finlay will be driving it and I will be sitting in the seat. – Emily P2

I’ve learned that on the back of the engine, it is gold. I don’t know why but it might be because of the heat, the dangerous bit at the back. – Derwyn P3
