On the 17th of June we went to Sgriob-ruadh farm, we went to learn more about our farm to fork topic. We saw cows, pigs, alpacas, a hen and a peacock. We fed the cows and the alpacas with some cow nuts. They milk the cows twice a day and use their milk to make cheese. The pigs eat the whey to make them fatter for slaughter, then any excess whey they make into alcohol to sell in the glass barn. We also learned that they sell all of their cheese and meat in their farm shop. Hannah P7
