World Book Day

Reported by P3-7

World Book Day was Thursday 6th March, we celebrated by dressing up as book characters. When we all got to school, we had a whole school photograph and then we read together in pairs and small groups. We invited our parents to come in to share stories with us in the afternoon and P3-7 entered the Waterstone’s favourite character competition by drawing a character.

I enjoyed seeing everybody’s costumes (Hannah, P6)

I enjoyed showing everyone my sword that I made myself for my costume. (Anna, P6)

I enjoyed playing in my pirate costume because I was playing pirates with my friends. (Shylah, P3)

I enjoyed seeing everybody’s costumes and I had fun playing with our costumes. (Autumn, P3)

I enjoyed reading stories with the parents and reading in front of everyone. (Layla, P3)

I enjoyed seeing what everyone was dressed up as. (Tyler, P5)
